What is a Disaster?
"A tree falls in the woods......" Yup, it probably makes a sound. At the same time, if a wildfire burns up a mountain and there are no lives in its way, is it a disaster? If a hurricane hits land but there is nobody living there, is it a disaster? If an earthquake shakes a region of the country but there are no buildings, is it a disaster? I think you get the point.

What the heck is a shack-a-thon? And that looks like some real shoddy construction, dear. I'm a little disappointed.
I guess I should have elaborated, it is an event that raises awareness for homeless people, each shack has to be built from donated materials with a spending limit of $20. The goal is to raise money for habitat for humanity.
